Elder Jeffrey L. Mullen, Jr., B.Th.
Assistant Pastor

Elder Jeffrey L. Mullen, Jr., B.Th. Assistant Pastor

Elder Jeffrey L. Mullen, Jr., B.Th. is a native Baltimorean.  At the tender age of one year old, his parents moved the family to Brooklyn, New York.  After nine years, his parents relocated back to Baltimore, Maryland.  It was this shift in Elder Mullen’s life that laid the foundation for his birthing in Christ.  The “impetus” faith of his grandmother and great-grandmother was the commencing of his salvation.  Under the leadership and tutelage of Bishop Ivan L. Grant, Sr., Trinity Apostolic Faith Holiness Church (Trinity New-Birth International Christian Ministries, Inc.), Elder Mullen was saved at the Annual Conference in August 1996.  In the early years of his salvation, Elder Mullen attended Sunday morning services on and off.  During the New Year’s Eve Service in December 2001, the Lord spoke to him and said “stop running”.  This prompted him to begin attending service on a continuous basis and later attending midweek services where Elder Mullen began to grow by leaps and bounds.

Upon the relocation of Bishop Ivan Grant, the Lord continued Elder Mullen’s growth under the leadership and guidance of Bishop Isabelle E. Grant, D.D., PhD. In 2006, Elder Mullen was placed in Diaconate Training classes and was ordained as a Deacon in the Lord’s Church in August 2007.  As the Spirit of God continued to move on Elder Mullen in the delivery of the Word, one could see the transformation which led to his elevation to the office of Elder in August 2010. Elder Mullen served in a myriad of roles while at Trinity (i.e., Vice President of the National Youth Fellowship Organization; Co-Captain of Men’s Day Activities; member of the Senior Usher board).

Elder Mullen’s relationship with Pastor Karen Thompson began back when he was just a little boy at the age of 10 years old.  As the godson of the late Dr. Ruby Prideaux, Elder Mullen’s life was connected with Pastor Thompson, who was a spiritual daughter of Dr. Prideaux.  Prior to joining the ministry of Remnant of God Deliverance Ministry, Pastor Thompson would call upon Elder Mullen to minister and serve Remnant in various capacities.  In 2017, Elder Mullen, being led by the Holy Spirit, declared his membership with Remnant.  Since that time, Elder Mullen has served in several capacities within the ministry of Remnant (i.e., Senior Elder; Teen Sunday School Teacher; Vacation Bible School Adult Class Facilitator; Member of the Board of Trustees).

Elder Mullen is a graduate of Frederick Douglas High School, Baltimore MD. In pursuit of furthering his knowledge of God’s Holy Word, he enrolled in the North Carolina College of Theology where in June 2011, he met the requisite and received an Associate Theology Degree in Biblical Studies.  Desiring to learn more of God’s Holy Word, Elder Mullen continued with his Christian education receiving a Bachelor of Theology Degree in 2012.

Elder Jeffrey L. Mullen, Jr. believes in allowing the Spirit of God to operate freely and is passionate about true deliverance that comes only through God’s Word.  He is a God-fearing and God-led man who has set his heart, mind and soul to be the vessel the Lord is calling him to be and to serve his generation in sincerity of heart and spirit.
